36e6f62cd0 Use a wrapper around xml.etree.ElementTree.fromstring in python 2.x (#7178) 
Attributes aren't unicode objects, so they couldn't be directly used in info_dict fields (for example '--write-description' doesn't work with bytes).

9fc03aa87c [brightcove] Always return lists from _extract_brightcove_urls 
In Python 3, filter() returns an iterable object, which is equivalently
to True even for an empty result set. It causes false positive playlists
in generic extraction logic.

1cc79574fc Fix imports and general cleanup 
· Import from compat what comes from compat. Yes, some names are available in utils too, but that's an implementation detail.
· Use _match_id consistently whenever possible
· Fix some outdated tests
· Use consistent valid URL (always match the whole protocol, no ^ at start required)
· Use modern test definitions

cfe50f04ed GenericIE: Detect videos from Brightcove 
Brightcove videos info is usually found in an <object class="BrightcoveExperience"></object> node, this is passed to a new method of BrightcoveIE that builds a url to extract the video.
