EtchDroid is an open-source application that helps you write images to USB drives.
|
||||
You can use it to make a bootable GNU/Linux USB drive when your laptop is dead and you're in the middle of nowhere.
|
||||
|
||||
Features:
|
||||
• Supports raw disk images and most GNU/Linux distributions ISOs
|
||||
• Supports Raspberry Pi images (extract the ZIP file first; use a SD to USB adapter, the internal SD slot is not supported)
|
||||
• Supports most DMG disk images (beta)
|
||||
• No root - everything is done within the bounds of the Android API
|
||||
• Free as in freedom
|
||||
|
||||
Planned features:
|
||||
• Write common GNU/Linux distro in streaming from the Internet without storing it on the device
|
||||
• Support for Windows installation ISO (will likely require root)

• Support for Unetbootin-style image flashing

EtchDroid è un'app open-source che permette di scrivere immagini su chiavette USB.
|
||||
Usala pure per creare la chiavetta con su GNU/Linux che ti salva la vita quando il portatile è morto e tu sei in mezzo al nulla.

Funzionalità:

• Supporta immagini disco 1:1 e le ISO della maggior parte delle distribuzioni GNU/Linux
|
||||
• Supporta le immagini per Raspberry Pi (estrai prima il file ZIP e usa un adattatore microSD-USB; lo slot SD interno non è supportato)
|
||||
• Supporta la maggior parte delle immagini DMG (beta)
|
||||
• Senza root - tutto viene fatto stando dentro i limiti delle API di Android
|
||||
• Software libero
